Working with Caliber Leadership Systems, we help leaders to take their skills and effectiveness to the next level. We offer customized and highly focused programs as an effective and rewarding way for leaders to develop their skills. Our consultants work closely with your leaders to create a training program based on their individual and business needs. We can assist leaders by targeting the key skills to develop based on the current situations or challenges to overcome within their organization. We do this by offering programs that identify how they tend to behave as a leader, employee, and team member, and why; the type of organization they tend to create; what motivates or frustrates the leadership process, and; how they most effectively interact with different types of individuals.
Our process begins with a thorough assessment to identify and understand the individual's current level of functioning. Working with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI ®). This tool will help determine a leader's orientation and predictable areas of strength or weakness, their stress style, and foreseeable challenges in the areas of interpersonal effectiveness, communication, team efforts and conflict resolution. Emotional intelligence and leadership competencies are also evaluated as a basis for identifying management strengths and challenges, inter- and intra-personal skills, stress management and change management.
Based on the assessment results, we then work with leaders to create customized training and development programs. Our programs are targeted to develop areas that will lead to maximum impact and effectiveness. The first step is to work with the critical areas that are both underdeveloped and are impeding the progress or functioning of the leader. Our developmental recommendations will target the specific blind spots that require immediate attention, in order to improve the overall leadership effectiveness of the individual.
We use these tools to form a solid foundation for development; however, this is just the beginning. Our programs can be modified to include additional assessments to suit any organization's need, including measurements of work style, team style, management potential, stress style, personality aspects and conflict styles.
